Description: Porcellio laevis 'Dairy Cow' are a hardy species of isopod. Once they become established they produce quickly. Dairy Cow isopods are large, active, and have a unique white and black pattern. They are a larger, relatively fast reproducing isopod - many dart frogs will not be able to consume adult laevis, making them a great choice for the vivarium.
In rare cases, starving isopods may attempt to gnaw on small or delicate reptiles or amphibians. We recommend providing supplemental food to your clean up crew in the enclosure.
